Summary: Trading is an extremely difficult business to get into with day trading one of the hardest.

There’s no secret that over 90% of traders lose money and among those are professionals who are supposed to know what they are doing.

You need a lot of money to trade currencies because the profit fluctuations are normally minuscule.

This means small investments will only reward you with small returns and trading commissions are to come off the top as well.

Here’s a good article about trading from Forbes magazine.

What is The Swag Academy?

Trading has become very popular in recent times and this is possibly down to the Pandemic with people getting bored and looking for easy money.

The Swag Academy came onto the scene in 2019 and is making some bold claims that they are the #1 for Forex training.

Since the course or courses came to light, the course price has been increased several times.

But is this training going to put you in a position to start making some real money in the next few months?

That is why you are here and what we are going to discuss so let’s continue.

Who is the founder of The Swag Academy?

Chris “Swaggy C” Williams is the creator of The Swag Academy Course.

Who is an actor and Swag Academy product creator Swaggy C

Reality TV star who not too long ago could have been found on Big Brother and MTV’s The Challenge 35?

He started his career as a day trader in 2013 so I guess he wasn’t having any success in those early days.

Hence the reason why he applied and got into Big Brother in 2018.

According to his bio, he decided to create The Swag Academy in 2019 which is as you can see just after Big Brother.

Shortly after he claims that he earned his first $3 million and decided to give up as a Reality TV star to focus on trading.

Could it be that most of his money comes from The Swag Academy Course?

After all, anybody who can create a training system that everybody wants is going to make some serious money.

Especially has he does appear to have a big enough following.

Or maybe Swaggy C is part of the 10% who are having success as a trader.

Look we don’t know and there is no way that we can prove it either way but what we do know is those stats above are pretty true.

It would appear that Swaggy C has got a thing against the people who work the 9-5 and who educate themselves to better their careers.

He is even seen on video stating that “9 to 5 jobs and the educational systems are the biggest scams in the world”

He and his wife have their own YouTube channel with over 24k subscribers, which is a little entertaining if you like watching other people flash their lives.

Swaggy also has his own YouTube Channel with 324k subscribers

He even has an Instagram Channel with a quarter of a million followers.

So I guess we can say that he is a popular guy and I’d like to bet that his celebrity status had something to do with it.

Therefore, all those channels along with the Swag Academy training could be where most of the money is coming from and maybe not Forex Trading.

What do You Get With The Swag Academy?

There are 3 memberships with the Swag Academy course and for anyone who is interested then it might be wise to take the free course first.

There are over 110 interactive videos and over 30 hours of content.

Free Course

  • There are 10 lessons and 54 topics which are split into Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced.

The course covers…

    • The A-Z beginners course on Day Trading
    • Learn how trading works in the forex markets
    • learn how to analyse and create a chart from scratch
    • By now you should have enough knowledge to open a demo account
    • At this point, you will know whether trading is for you or not

Swag Academy memberships

As you can see with the Starter and Pro course according to the website the only difference is the Pro membership gives you access to 2020 Academy.

What they are calling GOAT Academy.

Unfortunately, there are no details or breakdown of the course so I guess you pay your money and take your chance.

How Much Does it Cost to Join The Swag Academy?

There are 3 memberships, Free, Starter and Pro.

The starter membership is $499 and the pro version is $799.

There has since been another course added which will cost you $1499, which is the Gold Memberships.

They do come with a lifetime membership and therefore any additions or updates to the current courses you are covered for.

You might notice by looking at other reviews that the whole course structure has changed and almost doubled in price.

There is a refund policy although for what period we are not sure because the website doesn’t say.

Therefore, we’ll assume this is a standard 30 day period with one stipulation and that is you mustn’t have viewed more than 10% of the content.

One reason when you wouldn’t be covered for a refund is if you paid for the course whilst it was discounted.

Therefore do ensure that you know the difference if you join.

Is Swag Academy a Scam?

The jury is still out on whether The Swag Academy is a scam or whether it’s legit.

Swaggy C does appear to at least know something about trading but that isn’t really difficult to do with the amount of free information online.

I guess we could all be experts given a few days or at least learn how to speak the jargon anyway.

Let’s just say then that The Swag Academy is not a scam and leave it at that which means we will not be recommending it to anyone.

Remember, according to the website The Swag Academy is for educational and entertainment purposes.

The best we can say about the course is that there is a free membership and therefore it might be worth checking that out first.

At least as a beginner, you should get some benefit, failing that there are plenty of other places that are worth researching that won’t cost as much.

There are plenty of reviews on the website which are all positive but these can not be verifiable.

Since we first reviewed Swag Academy we have noticed that the course titles have all changed.

The starter is now Individual

Pro is now Elite

With the addition of Gold which is double the Elite membership.

What we Like About Swag Academy

  • You can learn the basics and maybe you should consider taking the FREE course first as that way you’ll know whether trading is for you or not.

It should also give you a feel for Swaggie’s teaching methods.

  • There is a fun element to his training methods that explain things in an easier way that you can understand.

What we Don’t Like About Swag Academy

  • The course is expensive and as of this review has almost doubled in price from $499 to $799 with the new Gold course which is $1499.
  • Very misleading with his income disclosure and it depends on what you read, with some saying he has earned $3 million in one year and others that say $10 million.

With 90% of traders losing money then do we believe his money comes from social media and the actual memberships.

If I was a trader and I was making $1 million never mind 3 I would be focused on my trading, wouldn’t you?

  • The refund policy is a little sketchy and there is no time period on the website to indicate how long you have and you can only view up to 10% of the course.
  • Better Business Bureau: Always a good thing to look for when researching a product or service.

This indicates the strength of a product or service and a place where complaints are usually found.

Unfortunately, The Swag Academy isn’t registered here.

  • The course information is lacking which means that the only way to find out is to become a member.

The Swag Academy Review – Final Thoughts!

I’m sure Swaggy C knows about trading but whether you are going to be successful through taking his course is highly unlikely.

We are not here to slam a product for the sake of doing it, we are just trying to make you aware by delivering you the facts.

There is nothing we haven’t seen before that The Swag Academy offers and we have reviewed many other trading courses.

That offers so much more in terms of quality and cost.

However, if you want to go ahead and get into trading we would suggest looking elsewhere or at least “maybe” taking the “free” course he provides.

He is popular online but don’t you think that could be something to do with his celebrity status.

He does talk about the various scams to avoid and one of those is people selling using houses and flash cars.

But here he is with his wife doing just that very thing.

If You Want to Learn How to Make Real Money Online?

We have tried various ways to make money online and even trading but to no avail and eventually found a way that’s called affiliate marketing.

It is a very straightforward way that many are using to earn mid-4-figures upwards just like we are currently doing.

If you are asking where is the proof, we don’t do that because it is so easy to fabricate this information which everybody is doing.

All we will do is provide you with an opportunity and it’s up to you whether you pursue this further or not.

If you have a passion for something and would like to make a business out of it then this training platform is one of the best you will come across.

Don’t take my word for it, just take a look yourself and it won’t cost you a dime and there’ll be no credit card details asked for either.

Just how many sites will do this? Not many I can tell you this!

The Swag Academy FAQs

Here’s a quick rundown of a few questions that we think you’d be asking yourself first before joining such a program.

  1. Is Swag Academy Worth The Money?

There are 2 membership fees $499 for the starter course which as far as we are concerned is pretty basic and better courses can be found on Udemy.

You can find many courses at a fraction of the cost with reviews that are verifiable, some of which aren’t with Swag Academy.

We forgot to mention that the other membership, which is $799 is pretty much the same.

Since we first reviewed Swag Academy another membership has been added which will cost you $1499.

So in answer to the question, no we don’t think this course is worth it.

  1. Is There A Refund Policy?

There is a refund policy and I guess that covers the first 30 days although there is no mention of that.

There is one stipulation, you aren’t allowed to view more than 10 per cent of the course.

  1. No refunds will be given if the course has been purchased through a promotional campaign.
  1. Is Chris Williams Legit?

According to what you read there are various stories that claim he is a millionaire and that he has just achieved his first $3 million year trading.

You will also come across a story that claims he made $10 million within 12 months of trading forex.

If that was the case then why would he be selling Swag Academy? It just doesn’t make sense!

If you watch the YouTube video above, he actually tells you that it is highly unlikely that you will be making a profit in a few months.

  1. Are There Any Verifiable Testimonials?

Well no, there isn’t, except for a couple of hundred reviews from members on his website and all of them are positive.

Now, with over 90% of traders losing money then it’s unlikely that those are genuine reviews.

  1. Is Swaggy A Licensed Financial Advisor?

Of cause, he isn’t and up until very recently was a TV Reality star.

We just had to add this image straight from the FAQs

We just love it when they refuse to offer any responsibility.
