What is Lurralife about and who is the Founder?

Lurralife is a multi-level marketing business and the original founding member was Dan Putnam, although the website shows only Travis Martin, Derek Martin and Jonathon Bryant on their founder’s page.

Dan Putnam doesn’t get a mention through the normal channels on their website and maybe that is due to his involvement with Ponzi schemes in recent times.

With companies like Eyeline Trading, Wealthboss and R&D Global to his name which doesn’t read well at all.

Lurra Life is dedicated to manufacturing only natural health products that are inspired by nature and based on research and therefore an organic solution.

They market products in drop form, sprays and beverages such as coffee and tea, with a product that is aimed at Diabetics claiming it can control insulin levels.

Mind you, you do have to dig deep to find details about this claim on their website.

Here is a short promotional video.

Always nice to see a business giving back and for every single sale that Lurra Life makes they donate a meal to the foundation “Meals of Hope” to help out families in need.

Is Lurra Life a Pyramid Scheme?

This is a term that gets thrown around a lot when we are discussing a multi-level marketing business.

First and foremost there should be productsIs Mary Kay a pyramid scheme

or services that have an intrinsic value. Without them, we don’t have a business.

Secondly, you, the “sponsor” should not be getting paid solely for recruiting others into the company.

If you can answer yes on both accounts then the company shouldn’t be a pyramid scheme.

However, some MLMs choose to operate behind a product or service which becomes time-consuming for the authorities to decide whether it may or may not be a pyramid scheme.

Here, we can see that Lurra life is not a pyramid scheme because members can earn by selling the products without recruiting others.

That being said, if you want to progress up the corporate ladder then you are going to have to be able to recruit and recruit extremely well too.

You can check out what Wikipedia has to say about pyramid schemes here

Let’s look at the Lurralife Product Range

Lurralife thrive

Diabetes is a major problem throughout the world and is reported that approximately 1 in 11 suffer from this condition, but does Lurra life Thrive have any scientific evidence that the product actually works?

Well since the FDA aren’t on Lurra Life’s case then I guess then they are doing nothing wrong, right?

Lurra Life’s flagship product

Lurra Life O2 drops started life through the company O2 Worldwide, but are now the flagship product of Lurra life.

lurralife o2 drops

This was the product that started the ball rolling.

We all know what it is like when we feel lethargic and we don’t exercise enough.

One of the main things is the lack of oxygen in our cells, well Lurra life O2 drops are known to invigorate those cells with stabilized oxygen.

Just a few drops under the tongue and many are claiming to feel benefits in the first couple of days.

Scientific research has proven that suffering from chronic pain and diseases is a direct result of the lack of oxygen at the cellular level.

The Lurra Life product range can be found within the categories listed below…

    1. Lurra Life O2 Drops (12)
    1. Lurra Life Detox Tea and Lurra Life Coffee (10)
    1. Lurra Life Thrive (9)

The number of actual products is very limited with only 6 that really have an impact.

    1. Lurra Life O2 Drops
    2. Dr Miller Detox Tea
    3. Lurrafit Coffee
    4. Lura Life DeLite Sweeteners
    5. Lura Life DeStress

Lurra Life Business Opportunity – What you need to know

An MLM is no different from any other business and should be treated as such.

Do not believe everything an existing Lurra Life distributor tells you if that is how you’ve been approached. Keep an open mind and do your research first.

That being said…

How to become a Lurra life Brand Partner?

What is clear to me is that you do not have to pay to become a Lurra Life consultant but there’s a catch.

If part of your marketing is to physically get out there amongst the public then you are going to need samples.

However, if you are going to use the internet and social media to find customers and members to join your team then purchasing stock isn’t so much an issue.

Mind you if you want to advance the corporate ladder or maintain a certain level you will have to make sales, but what we normally see is that many purchase the products themselves.

This can create an overstocking issue where many are left with stocks they can’t sell. Then the next month the same thing happens.

Frustration sets in, members leave with masses of stock and in debt. This happens all the time!

To recap according to Lurra Life…

    • No requirement to purchase a startup package
    • No need to buy products every month to earn commissions
    • No paying a monthly fee for marketing system
    • No leadership levels that only reward a few top earners
    • No tricky qualifications to restrict earnings

SO SOUNDS GREAT RIGHT?

As an independent Lurra Life Brand Partner, you get everything to start your business, including tools, training, and support.

AND THERE’S MORE

    • Professional personal Lurralife official website with the e-commerce store.
    • A management system that includes sales tracking, order management, and reporting tools…
    • Additional resources include training, videos, and support.

So, overall the package looks pretty good.

How to Make Money with Lurralife

The 3 basic ways of earning with Lurra Life are…

    1. Purchase the products at discount for yourself, family and friends. This is more of a hobby approach rather than a business and one I would adopt first.
    2. Find your customers and sell to them.
    3. Recruit others into your team where you’ll have to train and motivate them because you don’t want them to leave, then reap the benefits from commissions on their sales.

The biggest hurdle anyone will have is keeping their team together.

Of course, if you choose the right Sponsor then hopefully they will train and motivate you so that you can pass that knowledge on to your team.

Remember, if you want to advance up the ranks you need to get those recruiting skills finely tuned.

There are many more ways to market and really just down to your imagination and just how much you really want this.

Such as…

    • Social media
    • Creating your own website and promoting the products that way
    • Social events
    • Plus there is so much more

ANOTHER GREAT WAY…

Would be to create your own website around the Health and Wellness niche and focus on where your customers are already coming from.

Wheres that? Right in front of you on Google.

Jaaxy and Lurralife

A few seconds produced the above image so just think what a few minutes could produce.

Those are people already looking for information regarding Lurra Life.

No need to message people on Facebook which is time-consuming and doesn’t work anyway.

Are you aware that in Google alone there are over 8 billion keywords typed into the search engine every single day?

That’s where your crowd is, all you have to do is get your website in front of those people searching and you are on to something.

Here you can check out the Lurralife Compensation Plan for yourself

Compensation plans are notoriously complex and often employ an expert to design them.

But here at Lurra Life the plan seems pretty good and should be straightforward to digest here.

Otherwise, you can listen to the compensation plan explained by a Brand Partner by clicking on the video below.

Are Lurra life Brand Partners actually making money?

What happens typically with this type of business is the lack of an income disclosure and for good reason too because they never read well at all.

That being said, I did sort of find something that represents an income disclosure based on 5000 Lurralife consultants for the 2020 period.

Lurralife income disclosure

If you take a look at the image below which is in more detail, the figures are shocking!

Lurralife review - Income disclosure

According to the recent image from Lurralife, you can see that only 52 members earn enough to replace a full-time job.

That leaves 34,833 who don’t and if that isn’t proof enough then I don’t know what is.

You can take a look at what the Federal Trade Commission has to say about it here.

What others say about Lurralife

This is the section where we try and find a mix of reviews which is sometimes difficult but we manage to find a few.

If the products were so great then reviews would be all over the internet, right?

Is LurraLife a SCAM?

So does Lurralife run off into the sunsetIs Lurralife a scam

with your money?

Absolutely not!

It doesn’t even cost you anything to join and you are not committed to purchasing stocks on a monthly basis.

However, if you want to advance then purchasing stocks and recruiting others to join has to be your number one priority.

There is plenty of competition around and the products are expensive and can be found on sites like Amazon at a much cheaper price.

So in answer to the question, No Lurra Life is not a scam!

But it is not a business opportunity that we would recommend either.

If you are looking for an alternative solution that will far excel anything that a remote job will give you then take a look at the link below.

It doesn’t matter whatever you choose hard work is required and there is no getting away from that.

What we like about Lurra Life

I was surprised that I found as manyWhat we liked about Lurralife

positive things as I did about Lurralife through my research, but here I have picked out the most appropriate ones for you.
  1. Free to join as a member

Not often do you see an MLM where there aren’t any costs involved and it could stay that way if you focused on the internet for sales, otherwise if home parties are your thing then you are going to need samples?

  1. Product reviews are mainly positive

You should always check reviews but be careful where they are coming from and just keep an open mind.

  1. Giving to others in need

Always a good thing is giving and Lurra Life gives a meal for every product they sell.

  1. 30 days 100% money-back guarantee

Providing you don’t go over the 30 days period.

  1. No Lawsuits

Over time MLMs seem to get hit with lawsuits but Lurralife seems to have avoided those so is this a good sign?

What we don’t like about Lurra Life

No matter how good a product or business What we didn't like about Lurralife

seems to be, you will always find negative things that could do with improvement.
  1. Lurralife’s popularity was nowhere to be seen in the first few years of business.

Lurralife review - Interest has grown

But they managed to turn it around from around 2019 but in recent times popularity has somewhat dwindled.

  1. Not registered with the Better Business Bureau

Whenever you are researching a business, always check the BBB website, where you can find all relevant information about the business along with any complaints that have been reported.

  1. Not registered with the DSA (Direct selling association)

Another site you should check when researching a business. They are there to protect you and me and to make sure things are running smoothly.

  1. Products are expensive

A quick search will find similar products at a fraction of the price.

  1. Not approved by the FDA
  1. Saturated market

The Health and Wellness industry is valued at around 4.3 trillion dollars, with more and more new startup companies coming on stream.

Which all adds to increased competition.

Is Lurra Life a Worthy Business to get Involved With?

The problem we have with MLMs, in general, isshould I join Lurra Life?

that they are always promoting the dream, the laptop lifestyle, the flash holidays, the flash cars, and mansions.

In reality, this might happen for the top 1% but it ain’t happening for the remaining 99%.

Products are a little thin on the ground with Lurra Life so they have a lot riding and with popularity dropping drastically, maybe they have run their course or maybe it’s just a glitch?

I know what it’s like falling for the BS because it happened to me, not once but twice so I didn’t learn from the 1st attempt.

Anyway if it’s a business opportunity that you are still looking for that’s very rewarding, then I can certainly recommend affiliate marketing.

Just think…

    • No recruiting
    • No pressure from your sponsor to meet targets
    • No purchasing of stocks
    • No going to events, which will be expected if you want to advance
    • No selling to family and friends
    • No restriction on which products you can sell
    • No marketing costs because you will be learning SEO
    • You’ll have a website that will run on autopilot 24/7/365
    • You’ll have a business that you can pass down to your children
    • Run this business anywhere you like

  1. Hi Mick,

I’ve never heard of Lurra Life, but sounds like it’s not something I would ever get into. Generally, from my experience, anything that claims that it will make you feel great with either a pill, a drop, or something easy is too good to be true.
I’ve fallen into these gimmicks just to try things out, and it’s never what someone boasts. The only sure fire way to feel good (in my opinion) is to workout, even for 15 mins a day and eat right. Veggies. lean meats, whole grains, some fruits, lots and lots of water.

If we all followed these regimes, we would all feel great!

Thanks for the info on this company! Love this article!

    1. Unfortunately for many living a healthy regime from an early age just isn’t a number 1 priority and only a few years down the road that people start to think this way, whether its an health issue or just that time of their life.

Way back then labeling on food, well there wasn’t any, but nowadays and with the internet we have all the advice we could possibly want.

The older we get the less the body produces nutriants that we need and makes so much sense to top up but there are so many places to get those nutriants and supplements from. You just have to be careful.

I personally wouldn’t purchase from an MLM or take up their business opportunity because I just wouldn’t have faith in the products and besides they are far too expensive anyway.

Thanks Katrina for taking time out to read this Lurralife mlm review. Your support is very much appreciated.

  2. This review was very informative. The research done on lurra life was very extensive. An overall great review. Fortunately, like you I’d rather go with affiliate marketing it makes so much more sense than trying to sell to friends and family. And anyone else that will listen.

  3. Thank you for this review on Lurralife. I can certainly say that from your review, Lurralife is very similar to other companies like Avon, Herbalife or Oriflamme.
I think you can make a good income as a student, or in school by selling products to your friends and family. It is harder to have a sustainable income out of it and the table you have shown demonstrates this. More than 50% of the people make $200 per year. That says a lot.

Thank you for this review and recommendation.

    1. I wouldn’t like to think I was making a living as a student with a business like this, although I do see where you are coming from.

Mind you it could be a great way to lose friends.

Thank you Yoana for stopping by and commenting on this Lurralife Reviews

  4. Hi Mick,

To be honest the only real positive I can see about Lurralife is that it’s free to join.

I had to laugh at one of the positive reviews – the reviewer, DebbieF, has suddenly taken up exercise and cut out carbs and yet credits Lurralife with her amazing weight loss and body transformation.

I’m also a little concerned that the founder, Dan Putnam isn’t mentioned on the website, but as you’ve pointed out, he has been involved with Ponzi schemes.

I guess having free membership may sway some people to join, but as you’ve quite rightly pointed out in order to succeed you will need to purchase products.

Finally, from a personal point of view, I tend to avoid products and programs that make claims about easing or curing certain diseases, such as diabetes, as it’s not something I wish to be associated with.

I always feel that if something was a “cure” then surely everyone in the scientific and medical world would be recommending it.

A great read as always Mick.

  5. With competition like Herbalife, I do not see a great opportunity in Lurralife. It feels like a knock-off, which is kind of a repulsive thing to me. However, after taking a look at your review, by the way, great work (!), I’m sure this is a legitimate company to work with. I like the fact it’s free to join to take a look around. That’s always much appreciated.

Then again, I’m not seeing myself selling these products. As you said, only about 1% of people, maybe 2% in the best-case scenario, make a modest living selling these products. I always feel bad when I’m approached by these marketers who promote products like Lurralife, Herbalife, etc. It’s all mumbo jumbo to me LOL.

But in any case, I wanted to share my opinion, and give you a thumbs up for sharing an excellent review. I don’t have to go any further. Moreover, I’m going to check out your alternative program as I’ve heard a lot of great things about it. Cheers!
