Welcome to this First Fitness Nutrition Review
Health and Wellness is an extremely competitive industry with most businesses manufacturing and selling very similar products, so why should Firstfitness Nutrition be any different?
Well, their range of products has expanded in recent times to cover a broader area and even includes CBD oil which we have covered in past reviews.
It’s always a good thing to slow things down and not to jump in feet first, so if you have been approached by one of their reps or even a friend or family member, then you are definitely in the right place.
I am, however, not associated with First Fitness Nutrition, so rest assured I will not be trying to sell you anything, but I am here to give you the lowdown on whether Fitnessfirst is a reputable company and one you might want to pursue further.
So let’s dive right in.

Then, by all means, give them a try.
However, if it’s a business opportunity that you are looking for then we would advise tread carefully.
The biggest hurdle that you are going to find with any MLM is that you will have to excel at recruitment which is not for everyone.

What is First Fitness Nutrition About And Who Are The Founders?
First Fitness Nutrition is a multi-level marketing business that specializes in the Health and Wellness industry, in weight management, beauty, and fitness.
Offering a variety of supplements, cleanses, health foods and drinks as well as personal beauty products in skincare.
They have even added Hemp CBD oil to the range of products.
The products can be bought directly from the First Fitness Official website by creating a customer account.
There is a business opportunity where you can sign up to become a distributor and sell the products yourself at discount but we’ll be going into that more a little later.
First Fitness Nutrition was founded in 1989 by Nigel Branson and Lee Causey and resides in Texas, US.
The fact that the business has been going for over 30 years should tell you that they are stable and not going anywhere soon.
There are no past or existing lawsuits that I can see, with no complaints at the Better Business Bureau.
Both founders, Branson and Causey seem to have unblemished records and I can’t find anything negative about them.
The business is well regarded amongst customers and members and has been trading in a correct manner for several decades.
So, everything seems ok, right?

Is First Fitness Nutrition a Pyramid Scheme?
A pyramid scheme is a term that seems to
be thrown around a lot and for all the wrong reasons.Maybe that person has had a bad experience in the past or something like that.
MLMs whilst they do have a business structure in the shape of a pyramid.
Doesn’t mean to say that it is a pyramid scheme. After all, all organisations are set up in that fashion.
You can earn money at First Fitness Nutrition without recruiting or building a team.
Let me explain!
Just for clarity on what a Pyramid Scheme is…
A pyramid scheme is when a distributor is getting paid for recruiting other people to join without a product or service.
What can often happen is that the company do have products and services but they don’t have any real value and are only there to disguise.
What is actually going on could be termed as a pyramid scheme in disguise.
The FTC compiled a report about the performance of MLMs which you can read here.

First Fitness Nutrition Products Line
To compete at a certain level in this over-saturated market you have to broaden the product range and that’s what First Fitness Nutrition appears to have done here.
Including Hemp-based CBD oil, which according to Firstfitness there is nothing like it on the market.
Well, I wouldn’t pay too much attention to that statement and take it with a pinch of salt.

First Fitness Nutrition Business Opportunity – What You Need to Know
Starting a business requires a certain mindset and going into this with a halfhearted approach is just not going to work.
Multi-level marketing businesses are all about recruiting large numbers into your team, but the difficult thing is stopping them from leaving.
If you have approached others and managed to convince them to join, then I’d like to think that you’d been honest with them, and not given them some spiel about “living in the lap of luxury, and earning a rake load of money”.
If you have they will eventually become wise to it, and to be honest, would you want to be in someone’s team who was dishonest? I know I wouldn’t!
Finding the “Right Sponsor” is essential to even have a glimpse of any such success.
This should be your number one priority because if you don’t find one then FirstFitness Nutrition will appoint one to you, and the chances that they will have a wealth of network marketing experience will be very remote.
So long-term success here is all about building your team and keeping them happy by training and motivating them.
Get that cracked and you might see some success.
That being said…

Here you can check out the First Fitness Nutrition Compensation Plan for yourself
Compensation plans can be complex in nature and maybe to confuse you into thinking you are getting a better deal than you really are.
Here at First Fitness, this does seem pretty straightforward and we have managed to find a pdf version which you can check out here, or click the video below and listen to Nigel Branson, one of the founders.
Are First Fitness Nutrition distributors actually making money?
For a company like FirstFitness Nutrition that has been around for over 30 years, I do find it strange that you can’t find an income disclosure.
Although this is pretty common amongst MLMs, the ones that we do find are normally one-offs, meaning not on a yearly basis.
Here are a few interesting facts that are common across the MLM business model.
-
- The top 1% is where the real money is earned, but more like .01%.
- 99% of members do not earn enough to replace an existing income.
- Around 75% say they will never join another MLM again.
- Between 50% and 65% of members do not stay around long enough to see in their 2nd year
There are exceptions to the rule, and that is you might become successful, through working extremely hard, going to all the events, and building a team extending into the thousands, but it is highly unlikely.
Is First Fitness Nutrition a SCAM?
In my honest opinion, FirstFitness Nutrition is not a scam.
They are a legitimate company that has been around for over 30 years and do have a broad product range which people do actually like.
They have managed to escape any such lawsuits, which is uncommon for an MLM.
However, people do tend to throw phrases like “this ? is a scam”, around quite frequently, but that is mainly down to people who join with the wrong expectations.
They might start with the right intentions but because things aren’t moving along fast enough, they get frustrated and leave with nothing but bad words to say about the business.
What Others Say About First Fitness Nutrition
Normally we are able to find a mix of reviews to even the balance out but we are struggling to find those reviews; the only ones that we could find were positive reviews. Which is a good thing right?
What We Like About First Fitness Nutrition
There is not a lot of information regarding Firstfitness Nutrition but what I did find was more positive than negative.
- The initial cost to join is very reasonable.
- Longevity
The company has been around for over 30 years and doesn’t appear to be going anywhere soon so if you did decide to join then something to not worry about is the company folding.
- No current or past lawsuits
If an MLM business has been around for as long as FirstFitness as you’d expect a string of complaints and lawsuits. It just seems to go with the territory.
- Great reviews
- 8 payment bonus incentives that you have access to.
What We Don’t Like About First Fitness Nutrition
- Not accredited with the Better Business Bureau (BBB)
- Not a member of the Direct Selling Association (DSA)
The DSA is an agency there for your own protection and tries to ensure MLMs operate in the correct manner.
If they aren’t registered with the DSA then that normally raises a red flag.
Is First Fitness Nutrition a Worthy Business to Get Involved With?
I’m sure you’ll agree, that to make this type of business work you have to go all-in and work extremely hard at it.
It all depends just how much you want it.
It is no good saying that I will give it a go, you need to devote 1 to 2 years, focus and learn.
It’s not always about the products because in many cases the products are good and they do what they say on the label.
However, they do tend to be overly expensive which is going to make it more difficult with all the competition out there.
If First Fitness Nutrition is a company that you are considering, we suggest purchasing the products first and seeing if they are any good.
Another plus point would be to find a sponsor who is knowledgeable and prepared to teach you the methods that work.
However, why not start your own business where you are in full control and have nobody to answer to.

Hi Mick,
It seems nice to join First Fitness since they run for more than 30 years without having any lawsuit, which is impressive, but I like to know whether they provide some support to teach its affiliates to build a website to promote the products? Without leveraging the power of the internet, the chance to make money in any MLM is relatively low. I would love to hear your feedback on this. Thanks.
Cheers,
Matt
Hey Matt, thanks for dropping by and reading and commenting on this First Fitness review.
As you know every member has their own First Fitness website for sending out to customers, and these are sometimes changeable to allow you to give it that personal touch, but most are probably left as standard.
In addition, you should be looking at building your own website and the scope of training doesn’t cover this. They are more interested in teaching you how to connect through social media like Facebook.
Your support is very much appreciated.
I don’t know what it is about these MLM’s but they just don’t sit well with me. The fact that there is always so much to buy upfront that people always end up trying to flog to their family and friends, then they are trying to recruit them, it just sounds like a recipe for disaster.
I’m sure there may be the odd success story but surely there are better ways of earning money ie.affiliate marketing which doesn’t cost you your friends/family which I could see happening down the road with these schemes like Fitness First Nutrition.
Have you ever had experience with one?
It is a recipe for disaster Amy and a sure way to lose friendships.
The facts are there for everybody to see regarding success, but you talk to one of their distributors and they aren’t going to tell you that they aren’t doing well, now are they?
I have had a couple of experiences with MLMs and they were eventually closed down.
Thank you for your comments and support.
Hi Mick ,thank you for this wonderful and well detailed review .I have heard about this business before and i was not sure what to do .At first ,it sound to me like it was a scam but now after reading your review i have a better understanding of the situation .Thank you for sharing this with me .It helps me a lot .NIce review Mick !
Thank you, JK and glad you enjoyed the review
Mick,
There are so many “fitness” experts online these days, it’s mind blowing. Back when I was obtaining my degree in Nutrition Science, it took me hours to find reputable sources online for anything Nutrition. Now, everywhere I look, there’s more and more companies claiming their products are the best.
I had never heard of this company until today, I have to admit. At least it’s not expensive to join with them like it can be with other companies.
I’ll have to check them out and see what they’re about. I usually like to research companies like this to see what they’re selling to people. 🙂
Thanks for the great information!
Katrina
Yes, Katrina, it would appear that more and more of these MLMs are staring to try and capitalize on the Internet boom.
With so many of them about manufacturing and selling similar products, it’s a difficult task to research because they are all saying the same things.
Glad you enjoyed this review and thank you for your support.
