One thing that we couldn’t find on the website is an actual fee for the training course.
Apparently, you will find this out when you place a call with a member of the team.
But the figure we have seen knocking about is between £3,000 and £4,000.
With other expenses, we would estimate that you would need around £10,000 just to get this business off the ground.
Dropshipping courses are plentiful and with a little research, you can find hundreds that are as good or better for a lot less money.

What is Dropship Unlocked About?
Dropship Unlocked is an e-Commerce training platform based in the UK that provides education.
For entrepreneurs who are determined to succeed in this competitive market.
Dropship Unlocked was launched in early 2019 and for the UK market only.
Is a 6-week course teaching you all that you’d need to know to start and run your very own eCommerce store using Shopify as fulfilment?
The actual course is called Dropship Unlocked Masterclass to avoid any confusion when you are looking.
The training whilst expensive does come with lifetime access.

Who is Lewis Smith?
Lewis Smith is the founder of Dropship Unlocked and like many marketers went through failures until he found a way to succeed.
After trying to make it himself and failing miserably, he chose to seek out a mentor and the right course.
If you look at his Linkedin account you will see that he has been in full-time employment pre-2019 so he doesn’t bring a lot of experience to the table.
On his Facebook page, you will notice over 5k likes, and a look further and most of those appear to be from India and Nigeria.
A little strange we thought, especially as the course was developed for the UK market.
Another thing we noticed is that Smith was an actual student of Anton Kraly’s Drop Ship Lifestyle which is a fraction of the cost.
Anton Kraly does appear to have many years more experience in dropshipping as opposed to Smith.
However, we aren’t directly trying to deter you from the Dropship Unlocked course, it’s just information we thought you needed to know.
How Much Does it Cost to Join Dropship Unlocked?
Looking at the Dropship Unlocked website you won’t find any mention of costs there.
What you will have to do is go through a 45-minute training webinar first.
Now I don’t know about you but hanging about and then having to schedule a telephone call with Smith to find out costs is not something I am happy with.
You just know there’s a sales spiel coming, right?
Apparently, Smith says the reason for the call is to see if you are the right fit, now do you really think that he’s going to turn anyone away?
Of cause, he isn’t!
People want to know upfront about costs so they can move on if the budget is too steep.
In our eyes, this is a red flag because you are allowing someone to apply pressure to convince you to sign up.
After careful consideration and research, we found that a figure of £3,000 was mentioned, with a hint that the course will be going up to £4,000.
That cost is only the start and a fraction of what it will eventually cost you.
We couldn’t find any mention of a payment plan so you will have to pay the full amount upfront.
What do You Get With Dropship Unlocked?
The course is spread across a 6-week period but that doesn’t mean you have to complete the course in that time.
Once you have paid for the course you get a lifetime membership which means you can go through the course at your leisure.
However, if you are serious about building an eCommerce store you should be considering that you will have paid between £3,000 and £4,000.
Then you will be looking to go through the course as quick as possible to try and recoup those costs.

Is Dropship Unlocked a Scam?
The course is definitely not a scam but 
are you getting good value for your money especially as the course may be going up to £4,000?
Looking at the course we just can’t see the £3,000 value there.
The majority of people are just not going to have that sort of budget and besides this is only the start.
You will need a lot more money to get this business off the ground.
Unless you can come up with a product that nobody is selling then expect to find plenty of competition.
Remember that major retail companies will be selling the same products at a price that you aren’t going to be able to compete with.
Finding a unique product is extremely difficult, if not impossible but print-on-demand allows you to do this which is what this course is missing.
Why not head over to Udemy and check out the courses there where there are thousands of reviews?
That way you can decide if this business is really for you and besides you are going to save thousands that you can use in other ways like marketing.
What Others Are Saying About Dropship Unlocked
One thing that we couldn’t really find whilst looking for reviews is that there was hardly any negative feedback.
Dropship Unlocked is showing a 97% excellent feedback rating on Trustpilot.
There is no reason to not believe that student testimonials on the Dropship Unlocked course are fake.
Normally when we see testimonials on the product owner’s website we something have to question the validity.

What we Like About Dropship Unlocked
- A Geniune Business Model:
This is still a popular business to get started with and because it is that lends itself to more competition.
It’s all about product selection and ideally, you are looking for a unique product.
Something we thought was missing from this course was POD or print on demand which allows you to create your unique products.
Print on demand is a popular way to create unique products that nobody else will be selling.
What we Don’t Like About Dropship Unlocked
- Very Expensive:
There are many courses teaching dropshipping that cost nowhere near the price tag they are asking at Dropship Unlocked.
Many of them only cost a few hundred and if you checked Udemy from time to time you can find courses heavily discounted.
- We Hate The Long-Winded Way Of Finding Out The Cost Of The Course:
When people are looking for online opportunities they don’t want to waste hours looking for the cost.
They want to see the cost there in black and white on the website so they can move on if the costs are above their budget.
- Likes On Facebook Page Are A Little Dubious:
Why would Smith have over 5k likes with most of them coming from India, Nigeria and Zambia when the course was specifically developed for the UK?
It even looks like those likes might even be paid for to boost his profile but hey we can’t verify that.
- Testimonials On The Website:
This is something we don’t pay too much attention to simply because you are only going to find biased information there.
- Trustpilot Reviews Look A Little Suspect:
The course was launched in February 2019 and the reviews on Trustpilot start 22 months in so what’s going on there?
Maybe nothing but it does look a little dodgy.

There are very few who have budgets of several thousand to risk on a whim and that’s what we have here.
We have even heard the course will be going up to £4k which we feel is ludicrous.
Remember, you have to factor in many things that are going to need paying for.

Another important thing to watch out for is customer reviews so the product has to be perfect otherwise negative reviews will have an adverse effect.

According to what Lewis says, the course costs are not highlighted because this is down to what your requirements are.
Meaning that everyone has different goals which will be brought out in a telephone interview with the team at Dropship Unlocked.
This looks commendable but we feel that once they have you on the phone some high sales pitch is in order, however, we may be wrong
Based on what we found out by talking to people who had taken the course that the cost could vary between £3,000 and £4,000.
- Isn’t There A Free Course On The Dropship Unlocked Website?
There is but it doesn’t provide you with any real training and is only there as a lead magnet, for something bigger.
One thing is for certain, you ain’t going to become an expert going through this course.
It’s only a way to get you on his email list and there is nothing wrong with that, we are just letting you know.
- Is This Course Only Aimed At The UK Market?
Whilst the straightforward answer might be yes it is, but dropshipping is the same wherever you decide to do it.
The laws are different and this would need to be looked at if let’s say you were from the US.
- How Much Will I Need To Get Started With Dropship Unlocked?
Well, we mentioned that the actual course could end up costing you as much as £4,000 but that isn’t where the costs end.
You will need additional money to get things off the ground as you will always need something to fall back on.
If this is the course then we would say that £6k to £8k would be a good estimate.
- Is It Profitable To Dropship?
Yes, it is providing you go into the business fully committed and it’s important to find the right training course.
Find the right products and suppliers and you could be onto a great business.
- Which Website Is Best For Dropshipping?
This is a preferential thing and if this is your venture into this business model then you will need some guidance.
Here are a few to store away for future reference because things change all the time.

Anything is good for beginners if you are prepared to make a full commitment.
