The List Leverage Review: Legit Program or Matthew Neer SCAM?

The List Leverage ReviewWelcome to the List Leverage Review

One of the most important assets you can own as a business owner is an email list or customer list if it sounds more appropriate to you.

Something you will hear spoken about often is “The money is in the list”.

How so very true this is, but in order for you to build a list a few things have to be in place first which we shall get into a little later.

What we have here with List Leverage, is a membership site that claims to automate.

The whole email list building process for you through sales funnels.

I’m sure this isn’t the first website you have come across as there are many List Leverage reviews around giving a one-sided account.

These are from affiliates trying to make a sale and a tidy commission and therefore what you will not get is an unbiased review.

I, however, am not associated with “The List Leverage System” in any way and am only here to help.

You make the right decision as to whether this product is worth moving forward with or not.

I am not a lover of “Done for you” systems but maybe this one is different, so without further ado, let’s dive right in.

[Affiliate Disclosure: This post may contain affiliate links which means I may earn a small commission if you purchase anything through one of the links. However, this will not affect what you pay!]

What is List Leverage about and who is the Creator?

List leverage turn one lead into thousands

List Leverage is a DFY (Done for you) membership site that allows you to generate an email list through already made sales funnels.

The premise is to generate an email list that you can benefit from at a later date through your promotional offers and secondly you can invite others to join and become part of your team.

In doing so as the “Sponsor” you can benefit from commissions on the sales of the products you offer and also the monthly and yearly subscription fees from your team.

It is important to note that in order for you to take advantage of the yearly upfront commissions, you have to have paid for the yearly subscription yourself.

Otherwise, the commission goes to your sponsor or the next sponsor in the above upline who is a yearly subscriber.

Matthew Neer is the vendor responsible for the List Leverage system and has a wealth of experience as a product creator.

However, the products he is normally associated with are low-quality products.

Who is List Leverage for?

This would be for internet marketers with experience in network marketing and definitely not for newbies coming into this MMO(Make Money Online) space.

If you are serious about building an email marketing business, it takes time with a lot of hard work involved and is very rewarding when it’s done right.

Bouncing from one scheme to the other trying these so-called DFY shortcuts is not something I would recommend and that’s coming from experience.

Building an email list should be done from scratch with the right type of targeted subscribers.

Who knows where these will be coming from.

One thing that we haven’t touched base on is the fact that this product is based around the multi-level marketing business model.

This is a whole new ball game and requires exceptional recruiting skills.

However, I can see the attraction to the List Leverage System but the costs are high in comparison to other similar products out there and the returns are far too low for my liking.

Besides, where are the great reviews of people who have joined because I don’t see any?

List Leverage Pricing and Features

There are a number of costs that you’d incur when joining List Leverage.

Membership fees

  • Monthly @ $47.00
  • Yearly @ $398.00 (super affiliate)

List Leverage products that you can purchase and sell on

  • Lead Capture pages @ $97.00
  • Email Swipes @ $247.00
  • Webinars @ $497.00

Check them out here for more info:

Additional products you would need to make this all work are…

  • Traffic Authority priced @ between $220.00 and $8,397.00 (packages)

In order to build your email list, you need a traffic provider and that’s where Traffic Authority comes in.

There are 2 monthly memberships…

  • $47.00/month gives you Traffic reseller and Optimizer
  • $144/month gives Traffic reseller, Optimizer plus Academy

Once you have shelled out for your membership fee, then it doesn’t stop there because now you need to purchase a traffic package which you can see below.

traffic authority packages

PPC advertising as you can see can cost you a fortune with absolutely no guarantees and besides you just don’t know whether the leads that they will be sent to your campaigns will be good leads or not.

By using Traffic Authority there are “High-Ticket” income streams that you could benefit from, which we shall cover in the next section.

  • Send Shark priced @ $25.00/month

This is an email autoresponder that pays for up to 50,000 subscribers.

If you check the payment options on other autoresponders like Aweber, GetResponse you will see that it can cost several hundred dollars for that amount of subscribers.

Mind you…

You need to take into consideration that reaching 50,000 subscribers is going to take you a while.

Therefore it might be best to go with other options that are available but you’d need to check through the List Leverage product.

How does List Leverage Work?

An email list is so important if you are serious about building a business and the List Leverage System claims to be a quick way of building an email list so that you can promote your affiliate offers.

Email marketing is just one of the many methods that you use as a marketer to earn a passive income stream but this is normally built over a period of time.

Trust is the important thing here because, without it, your subscribers just aren’t going to purchase anything from you.

Just think about it, if someone sent you an email who you didn’t know from Adam, trying to sell you something, would you buy? I rest my case!

This is an automated system, so there should be very little work to do on your behalf, well that is what they claim anyway.

But no matter how “Done for you” something is you are always going to have to work hard for you to get any returns on your investment.

How to Make Money With List Leverage – There are 4 Key Components

  1. Viral Lead PassUp System

These are your leads or subscribers for a better word, that see your campaigns, look interested and send you their email details.

The first 4 leads or subscribers go onto your email list and the 5th lead goes to your sponsor. So the 5th,10th,15th,20th…

The same with your downline, every 5th lead will go onto your email list.

So let’s say you introduced 1 person who sits in your downline and he/she works hard and get 1000s leads/subscribers, they would PassUp 200 leads into your email list for doing absolutely nothing.

That’s 20%!

  1. Multiple Income Streams

List Leverage

For every member that joins as part of your team, you would receive either $20 a month or $200 commission if the member paid upfront for the entire year.

In order to qualify for the $200 commission, you have to have paid yearly upfront yourself otherwise this commission will go to your sponsor or to the next person who had.

To qualify for those commissions you have to be active, in other words, you must have paid your monthly subscription fee.

SendShark

This is the auto-responder that they would like you to be using and for everybody in your team who purchased you would receive $12.50 / month.

It is my understanding that there are now other autoresponders that you could purchase so you are not restricted to using Send Shark.

You’d have to check who they were but the commissions won’t be like Send Shark.

Traffic Authority

Traffic Authority

Is your complete traffic solution and for every member of your team who purchased Traffic Authority you would receive $56.00 / month.

3 Income Streams… Lead Leverage, Send Shark, Traffic Authority

If your members purchased all 3 products that would amount to $88.50 / month from all the members in your downline.

Remember as per the Leads every 5th sale would UpSell.

Let’s say you bring 12 new members into your team the 5th and 10th sale like in the lead UpSell would go up to your sponsor.

So you’d recieve 10 new members * $88.50 = $885.00 / month

  1. High Ticket Commissions

This comes from the traffic packages that are bought through Traffic Authority for which you could earn as much as $3,200.

For this example, let’s take a look at the top 3 packages…

  • Platinum Package, 1700-1900 clicks = $2197.00 – Commission / $800.00
  • Titanium Package, 3400-3800 clicks = $4297.00 – Commission / $1600.00
  • Diamond Package, 8100-8400 clicks = $8397.00 – Commission / $3200.00

If a member in your team paid for one of the packages above provided you had Traffic Authority yourself you would receive that commission, and this would hopefully be a recurring commission.

Don’t forget if that member paid for the Diamond Package @ $8397.00, they would get as many as 8400 clicks which could mean 1,000s of leads and remember you would get 20% of that member leads for doing nothing.

So 2000 leads would equate to 400 leads on your list.

  1. Click Cash Traffic Monetizations

Now not all your subscribers are going to buy List Leverage, plugin their autoresponder or buy a traffic package.

But what happens here is that you will be sending out emails on a regular basis to your list and your subscribers will be opening the emails and clicking on the links.

When they do this you will get paid on average $0.25 a click.

That’s whether they purchase anything or not.

2000 subscribers = 1 email = 2000 clicks = $500.00

What about the List Leverage Income Disclosure

This is something you very rarely come across and the ones that you do never paint a decent picture.

List Leverage income disclosure

As you can see, an average annual gross income comes in at between $300 and $1,800.

Nothing new here because the money tends to be in the top 1%.

List Leverage Compensation Plan

Compensation plans are notoriously complex and for good reason too, they make you think that you are getting a better deal than what you really are, but this one is pretty straightforward.

Check the plan out here.

List Leverage System: Red Flags to Watch Out For!

When you watch the List Leverage List leverage review - Red flags

presentation by Matthew Neer all he appears to do is throw numbers at you and give the impression that anybody, whether you have experience or not, can succeed.

List Leverage is a multi-level marketing business model and not for everyone unless you come with plenty of experience especially in recruiting.

To reap the rewards and claim your high ticket commissions you really have to purchase their Traffic Authority system and that doesn’t come cheap.

$47 / month which equates to $564.00 / year

or

$144 / month which equates to $1,728.00 / year

Then there are the traffic packages that you have to purchase and the cheapest is $200.00 going all the way up to a staggering $8397.00.

I have big concerns about where the traffic source is actually coming from and I find this difficult to get an answer to. An answer like “high-quality traffic” does not ride well with me.

For me, email lists should be built over time because it takes time for your subscribers to trust you before they would even consider purchasing anything that you had to offer.

What about the income disclosure that I have covered…A yearly average income earned between 300 and 1800 dollars.

Is List Leverage a SCAM or LEGIT?

List Leverage is definitely not a scam Should I purchase List LeverageShortcut

but a legitimate list building platform and you could earn from it provided you knew what you were doing.

So, not for the newbie coming into the “Make Money Online” space and not something we would recommend anyway.

Email Marketing is just one aspect of affiliate marketing so wouldn’t it be much wiser to find a training platform that taught you everything you would need to know?

Building an email list done the right way takes a lot of time because your subscribers have to trust you before they would ever think about purchasing anything from you.

Trying to sell something to anybody who doesn’t know you does not work.

We have concerns about what traffic source is going to be used and as they are using Traffic Authority then we believe it could be Solo Ads.

However, whatever source it is you will be expected to shell out money for paid traffic.

What I like about List Leverage

On the surface, List Leverage is a well thoughtWhat we liked about the List Leverage system

out system and could work but as we’ve seen many times before “Done for you systems” have a tendency not to work as they are expected to.

Not to mention that this is an MLM and the only ones who make any real money are in the top 1%

  1. 30 money-back guarantee:

Always a good thing, but I would find it hard to think that I could get all my money back after committing to this.

  1. A legitimate email marketing system:

It is a legitimate system as I have already said and well thought out but I have to question the quality of the leads or subscribers.

What I don’t like about List Leverage

What they are claiming is that those leads What we didn't like about the List Leverage system

convert at 6% so for every 100 leads you will get 6 sales.

If those leads were so high-quality which is what they are saying, then I would expect a bigger conversion rate.

  1. MLM

Yes, this is an MLM and we know where all the money tends to go and that is in the top 1%.

  1. Traffic source:

Traffic Authority is a bit of a closed shop when I try to find the actual source and validity of the traffic. All I seem to get is High-Converting which is not an answer.

  1. Expensive:

With any business opportunity, there is no point in committing in a halfhearted way. You would need to go all-in otherwise you would never know whether you could really have made a success of it.

However, you could be looking at a few grand especially with the traffic packages, but all you need is someone in your team to pay $8397.00 for the top package and the commission on that alone would be a staggering $3200,00.

That been said, this would be very unlikely.

  1. Need to find a Sponsor who is willing to share their knowledge:

Great if you could find a sponsor who would be prepared to share their knowledge amongst the team and show you how it’s all done.

List Leverage Review: Final Thoughts!

The idea behind List leverage is a well Should I join List Leverage

thought out one with some very bold claims.

But at the end of the day, it is a multi-level marketing business and only benefits the top 1%.

Besides, it is going to cost you some serious money to find out.

Not only that but at the end of the day, you really don’t have a business that you can call your own.

Have you thought of what would happen if the business closes down?

Email marketing is just one concept of many that you can implement to make a passive income.

Why  use a system like this when it may be gone tomorrow.

Wouldn’t it make more sense to start an online business from scratch that you can call your own where you are in full control?

If you’re interested we’d love to share with you a training platform that we use and are still apart of which is responsible for many success stories.

Continue reading onto the next section for further details.

An Alternative Online Business Solution

Affiliate marketing is one of the best business models for an online business for a number of reasons.

    • Easy to understand and anybody can learn it
    • Extremely cost-effective, take a look here.
    • No recruiting
    • You don’t need a product and you can promote anything you like
    • Don’t handle customer orders
    • This business you own and in full control

This is a business model that we would recommend 100% to anyone and if you are interested then click the link below.

  1. Overall, I agree with you, Mick. The List Leverage is not the best program to learn email marketing. In fact, I feel like it is not a training program at all. It’s just focused on showing you how to market the same deal to others and spend cash on traffic packages for which the owner makes commissions. There are much better ways to start an online business these days and in my opinion, this is not the one. I like how detailed and honest your review is. Thanks for sharing!

    1. Hey Ivan, thanks for stopping by and taking time to comment on the list leverage review.

As it is an MLM the focus is always on marketing the same deals and the onus is always on recruiting others to join which is where a required set of skills would come in.

That is why I wouldn’t recommend this to a newbie.

That set aside, paying for traffic is always an issue and find the right traffic source when you are new to something like this.

However, the traffic source is within this product so you don’t have to go looking, but the costs that you would incur could be off the chart.

Once again thank you for your support.

  2. Hi. Thanks for giving us your honest review. As soon as you mentioned “MLM like” I got turned off. I used to belong to a forum called Affilorama. They had this product called AffiloJet Pack. It was amazing. It cost about $497, but it came with a year’s worth of emails that you could insert your own affiliate links in. It really was awesome! So you got about 300 already-done-for you emails that were well-written, not at all salesy. They really were informative. The best thing about it is that there were about 5 different niches to choose from. Each of those niches had a year’s worth of emails specifically custom to that niche. It really was amazing. Anyway, after having that experience, I wouldn’t want to try anything else. But thanks for your review!

    1. Shalisha, thank you for sharing your experience of Affilorama and commenting on the List Leverage Review.

Your support is very much appreciated.

      Mick

  3. Hi Mick,

Any DFY sites or sales funnels are not my things. I prefer to build an email list on my own even though it takes some time and effort. There are other costs that people need to cover after the initial investment, which isn’t good for beginners.

As for the expensive traffic authority, I am concerned about the traffic source, just like what you mentioned in this article. Do they provide the details about the traffic? I would like to know more about this.

    Cheers,
    Matt

    1. Hey Matt, thanks for stopping by and commenting on the List Leverage Review.

Certainly not for the newbie, as for the actual traffic source and where it originates from, this is something I couldn’t get an answer to even though I have contacted several members of List Leverage. All I get is High-Converting which for me is not an answer.

The way the whole system works leads me to believe that the traffic can not be from a reliable source.

Once again thank you for your support.

      Mick

  4. This has helped with making the best decision that we have made and that is the Wa platform it is by far the best out there. With the best hosting and traffic that you can be lead by no upgrades except to get the yearly subscription but that is a no-brainer. Wa is the best choice that we have made and recommends this to anyone listen to what Mick has to say its TRUE.

    Cheers,
    MAthew&Deloris

    1. Hey Mathew, it’s great to hear that you are already a member of Wealthy Affiliate and that you are enjoying your time here. It shows through in your comments.

Hope to exchange ideas and experiences and thank you for your support.

      Mick

  5. List Leverage review was an comprehensive read. I have read it through and was able to descite if this program is me. Looks like this is a very expensive program compared to your recommended platform of Wealthy Affiliate – this platform has so much more to offer compared to the List Leverage but at a fraction of price!

Many thanks for sharing this review with us.

    1. Habib, yes it is expensive but at least the costs are there in front of you to get a better idea whether your budget will cover the expenses.

Not like other MLMs where there is no mention of how to market your campaigns other than FaceBook.

Thank you for your comments and support.

  6. Hi Mick,

Well we’ve all heard of the gift that keeps giving, List Leverage appears to be the “gift” that keeps taking.

It appears that the additional purchases never seem to stop.

Firstly, I still think that creating a “quality” email list is one of the best ways to make money online, so the principle behind List Leverage is sound.

However, just reading through your review, I keep seeing red flags everywhere I look.

As you probably know by now, I’m not a fan of MLMs (and I definitely know that you’re not), but I guess it was only a matter of time before someone decided to take one of the most successful methods of online marketing and turn it into an MLM.

I’m totally with you on the traffic source as well – you can purchase all the traffic you want, but unless you actually know where it’s coming from, it’s impossible to ascertain its quality.

I mean, you could be getting 1,000,000 visitors to your offer a day, but if they’re not interested then you’re pretty much wasting your time.

This worries me, as promises of huge amounts of traffic is something that has been around for years, but other than paid (targeted) ads I’ve never really seen any type of success with this method.

There’s just too many things that don’t sit right with me about List Leverage, so this is definitely not one for me.

As always though Mick, I appreciate your honest and informative review.

    Partha

    1. Hey, Partha always great to hear from you especially on the List Leverage Review.

Yes, not for the fainthearted and definitely would not recommend to a newbie.

What this product at least does is make everybody aware of is traffic and what it could cost you.

As you can see with Traffic Authority, but I guess this is to the extreme, because quite frankly who would pay over $8000.000 to someone in the hopes that their marketing campaigns are going to be seen by high quality leads. I know I wouldn’t!

But, this is all about selling traffic to others and making commissions, but in order to make a commission on the top email package, you have to have bought that yourself first.

That been said, why wouldn’t you use well-renowned sources like Bing, Google, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest…and the list goes on.

Once again thank you for your support

  7. Hey,

I really like this review of List Leverage, it is very informative and insightful. This sounds like one of those typical programs that seems to cost quite low, but as you say there are so many up-sells that will increase the costs quite dramatically. I have tried these kind of programs on list building before and the up-sells were very similar, and I spent a lot of money without ever building a roper list. The training was not provided well at all.

I have decided to grow my own list with a lead magnet, and so far it is working. I use LinkedIn to build my list and I am very happy with what I’m doing. So, I agree that we do not need to invest in these kind of programs.

Thank you for sharing and keep up the great work.

    All the best,

    Tom

    1. Hey Tom, I think there aren’t any quick solutions to building an email list. It takes time and you have to build a relationship with your subscribers otherwise they are just going to end up unsubscribing.

      Thanks for the great comment.

      Mick

  8. Affiliate Marketing is definitely something to get in to, even more so with the global pandemic having an online business is the way forward.

The thing with affiliate marketing is that it comes with a stigma of not being possible to earn money online, which honest sites like this are proving it can be done and it’s worth doing.

Yes, there is a lot of guru’s out there but look at a site like this who are open and honest and willing to converse with you.

Thank you for listing the pro’s and con’s on List Leverage
